What are Parallel Worlds?
I will first start from explaining what parallel words are. Parallel worlds is conception. Another names are alternative universe, parallel universe, multiverse or another dimension. Very important thing is to establish that there is any proof they are exists, but…
Just because we can’t prove something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. God, life after death, and other philosophical concepts are perfect examples of this.
Wait, wait. I write something about conception and I still didn’t explain what that conception is.
Parallel universes exist parallel to each other. Just as parallel lines never touch, parallel universes have no common points or features. Even if they are permanently coexisting with each other. Interesting, isn’t it?
Ok, then it seems like fantasy and nothing more that that. Sure, but don’t forget there are any proof that God exists, but we still believe. What do you say to this?
I will take you deeper to this conception.
Parallel Worlds Conception
I have found this topic extremely interesting, even it could be only conception. Later I am writing about crypto projects in this space, but before that happen a few words.
The best explanation is write about human reality. We are living in 3 dimensional reality – length, width and height. This dimensions are only possible for us – people to observe, because our limitations. I will again write this important quote:
Just because we don’t see something doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist.
It is our limitations as humans that prevent us from perceiving more than 3 dimensions, but scientists claim there are as many as 11. Let’s look at them in the graphic below.
How difficult is imagine world in more than 3 dimensions. 4 dimensions is enough, but 11? I can really explain all of them, but you can think about them like you have some kind god mode in the game.
You can travel among different direction in space and time freely. How amazing it could be? Beside that, on the level of 11 dimension is String theory – M theory. Of course, I invite you to little explore this topic.
Travel space and time like in fantasy movies. Become part of the team from Star Trek. For scientist this conception is possible, when we travel faster than speed of light.
Finally, I write about parallel worlds in crypto. What kind of projects of multiverse, metaverse or parallel worlds are in crypto out there?
Examples of Parallel Worlds in Crypto
OK, after little to long introduction it’s finally time for real example of parallel words projects in crypto. You may be surprise, because they are metaverse projects as well.
Decentraland (MANA)
At first, Decentraland, the pioneering metaverse crypto project. Users can acquire virtual land, build interactive experiences, and monetize their creations by DAO structure. All powered by MANA token.
The Sandbox (SAND)
The Sandbox, another prominent metaverse crypto project. Built on the Ethereum blockchain. Offers users the ability to create, own, and monetize their gaming experiences using the SAND token.
Somnium Space (SOM)
Somnium Space, a blockchain-based virtual reality platform. In this open-source environment, users can acquire digital land, build customizable experiences, and trade their creations as NFTs.
Axie Infinity (AXS)
Axie Infinity, a blockchain-based game. Game using play-to-earn model. Game is powered by the AXS and SLP tokens. Players can earn rewards through gameplay, breeding, and trading their unique Axie creatures.
Gala (GALA)
Gala, a blockchain gaming platform. NFTs together with the excitement of gaming create a vibrant ecosystem. Users can freely swap in-game assets. The platform native token is GALA.
Enjin Coin (ENJ)
Enjin Coin, an Ethereum-based token. Token is form of payment in Enjin ecosystem.
Metahero (HERO)
Metahero, a novel metaverse project. In project you create 3D avatars of real-world people and objects using advanced 3D scanning technology. This unique approach aims to bridge the physical and digital realms. Pretty interesting, isn’t it?
Star Atlas (ATLAS)
Finally, Star Atlas, a futuristic metaverse game. It leverages the Solana Blockchain to power its two native tokens, ATLAS and POLIS. ATLAS serves as the in-game currency, while POLIS grants users a voice in the game’s decision-making processes.
Do those projects fit the parallel worlds conception? Maybe, only partly. We are at the beginning of our journey into metaverse, multiverse or parallel worlds. Some of this project will be developed and evolve. Some of them will be improved and changed.
Parallel Worlds and Metaverse
Parallel worlds are metaverses in digital world. Metaverse it is representation of our thinking about digital world among another digital worlds – another metaverses.
It could happen that metaverses could be somehow connected, but on this point they are separated like in this theoretical conception.
If conception of metaverses would be closer to reality then digital traveling among different metaverses would be possible. For now on, they are just dreaming conceptions.
Future of Parallel Worlds in Crypto
We don’t know how far we will be taken by artificial intelligence. Without any doubts, the development direction of artificial intelligence will be influential for parallel worlds like multiverse. Multiverses can become part of crypto world, but create own ecosystem. Obviously, form of payment there will be tokens or another digital form of payments.
Multiverse will bring to the table decentralized economies and ownership. I mean by that, users can own and control their digital assets. Including virtual land, in-games items, and NFTs. Honestly, right now we have all of that and future become present reality. Definitively there could be another assets like digital assets created by ai. At this point, I don’t know it it would be good for humanity or not.
Conclusion
Parallel worlds in crypto are represented by metaverse projects. It happen to be that like all cryptocurrency industry they are very innovative.
Some of this projects are ahead of another like Decentraland, Sandbox, Gala or Metahero.
It seems to me that those projects are far away from real conception of parallel words, but… They are still very interesting and in the future they will be more explore for sure.
